AGGREGATION

2011 – 2013 | design studio
Georgia Tech | School of Architecture | Atlanta, Georgia

Aggregation is rooted in the research of coordinator Lars Spuybroek. It explores fundamental issues of form and space through the analysis of architectural elements, compositions and their use in creative problem solving. Beginning with the detailed analysis of natural aggregation systems (e.g. angel fish skin, cracked mud, igneous rock, animal skin), the course utilizes parametric design strategies that transform these systems into architectural propositions.
