HARDMAN FARMS

CONSERVATION + RESTORATION
Hardman Farms is the former home to Governor Lamartine Hardman, who bought the farm in 1902. The 173-acre property retains buildings that date back to 1870. Lord Aeck Sargent worked with Garbutt Construction and the Georgia Department of Natural Resources to conserve and restore the main house and kitchen building. Care was taken to conserve original materials and finishes from the early 20th century that remained intact. The restoration work also included the addition of an accessible lift and solar panels to the site.
